FINALLYYYYYYYY Internet

All I can say right now is WHOOO HOOOOO. After a long long long few weeks I finally have the internet at my house. The Vonage phone works I called myself to test it since everyone at home is sound asleep!! It has been awhile since I updated the blog, to give everyone a mental image I am currently sitting cross legged on my lounge, typing away, importing music into Itunes while watching Greys Anatomy and having a glass of some very tasty Australian Red Wine. :) Not much has changed minus Im in Australia. ha ha. First off, thank you to everyone for all of the Birthday wishes, I appreciate them very much. My birthday was very different this year, pretty quiet but I still felt the love from everyone at home. This week was a fairly good week, work was slow because our managers are in the US in meetings. I now am the proud owner of a White Proton Satria, YES, I have a car. No more 2 hour commute to work, its now been cut to 15 min. Pretty Ridiculous the amount of time it has been shortened by. Oh and they drive on the other side of the road here!!! Its not as scary as I thought, its not being on the left side of the road thats weird, its the other side of the car and also staying in the middle of the lane!! I also bought a navigation system because I seem to get lost ALL the time no matter what I do here. I think its the roads here, at least if I get lost now, its User Error. :)

The most exciting part of the week...Mom came over on Joe's flight!! I cant even tell you how great it was to see them and have someone I love hug me and say happy birthday. It was so amazing to see them! I picked them up at the hotel after work and brought them over to my hous where we sat and relaxed for a bit before heading over to Joe's and my favorite local restaurant, Vicini. Mom was impressed that the owner remembered us. Dinner there is amazing, as is brunch!! Hopefully soon I will have someone to go with me to brunch and I dont have to sit outside by myself! After dinner I dropped them off at the hotel and someone managed to get attacked my a mosquito so i thought I was having an allerigc reaction but turns out it was just a million bites!!! Gross. This morning I went and met Mom for coffee before work to say Goodbye! :( Not sure when i will get to see Mom again but I hope its sooner than later.

Tomorrow I am headed to Melbourne to spend the weekend with Brendon, Christina, and Amelia. I cant wait!!! I hear that its amazing down there. We had such a blast when they came up here I can only imagine this will be just as great! Only bummer is the weather is supposed to be pretty chilly, no rain though which is a change. Its been stormy here all week with Thunder and Lightening. Supposedly they say its going to be a wet summer, i hope its not but we will see.

I will also add photos whn I get home. Jess was great enough to get me a new camera charger so I am back in action!! Lots of photos to come!!!
