Survival!

I couldn't put it off any longer.  I'm at the computer - obviously since this is about to be posted - and looked over at Melissa talking to me from the kitchen and I could see her breath!  I laugh and start panting so that I can see mine.  It's that cold in our house.  It's so cold that at night if I move off of the spot where I'm laying I wake up because the sheets feel like snow.  I am currently wearing pants, socks, Uggs, a long sleeve shirt, and the thickest sweatshirt I own - which is fleece lined, and I have the hood over my head!!!!  

Ewok is turning into a terrible two.  She goes mental for a couple hours every day and then is the cutest sweetest animal that you've ever known.  We had to shut her out of our room the other night and apparently she kept crying, (I fell asleep and don't wake up to much unless it's soo cold that when you move in bed it feels like snow is around you).  Anyways, Melissa goes to let her in and Ewok is at the top of the door?!  She somehow jumped, climbed, crawled her way up to a bit of towel that was hanging there.  She also tears from our room into the guest room and then spidercats her way up the screen door.  To prevent her from doing this we've tried to block the screen door with the curtains in the room.  Now she climbs up the curtains.  

We went down to Melbourne for the Queens Birthday, which I'm concluding is the most pointless holiday ever.  It was nice though.  We got a surf in and Brendon and I worked on some towing basics.  Our goal is to become a legitimate towing partnership.  Hopefully one day we'll get some sweet footage.  Melissa CUT HER HAIR and it looks very cute.  Not too hard for her to do since she pulls off all her styles, but it was quite a surprise.
