Our Friend the Kookaburra
This is DEFINITELY not a summary. In fact in an effort to be more realtime I was trying to make a conscious effort in updating weekly even if it was slightly mundane. WELL, that didn't go for to long, but it's still on my mind and I'm still gonna try for it. AND, most definitely I'm not gonna write a summary on 2010.
A weirder concept is that this is the year of our 30's. It's funny because I have specific age memories. For example, I vividly remember a specific instance when I was a freshman in high school and looked at senior and though, "man, that dude is so much older than me, he seems like he's such an adult, how much more of a man is he than me..." The next vivid impression is when I was 18 and was in the car with my friend and his brother in law on our way to the beach. Somehow age came up and I had asked him how old he was and he had said 25. I remember thinking how more than old that was like a true adult. Then, I remember being like 24 or something and meeting these seniors in high school and thinking, "Man, what a bunch of little kids."
Now I'm gonna be 30 this year. I really don't feel 30. Maybe it's because I abhor responsibility. Yeah, I guess abhor is a strong word especially for future Grandma, Grandpa's, Aunts, and Uncles to hear! Hmmm. Anyways, it's all happening.
Allright, so little insightful piece is now outta the way. New news, we are evolving from Vonage to Skype. The Skype connections seem to getting a lot better and it was really really cool to see everyone and chat rather than just on the phone. I might be running the Cost Effectiveness of the Vonage account in front of the Budget Committee next month to see if it is still a viable expense for the enterprise of "Amaviscas in Oz 2011". Stay tuned as it should be a crackin result for the entire global community of Vonage and Skype users.
I just finished this book on the History of Palestine that Joe lent me about a year ago and I have to say that it was really interesting. I would have to say that my favorite part of it was that it really opened my eyes to a different perspective.
I hope everyone had a fantastic time over Christmas and New Years. We had a very nice time and enjoyed each others company quite a bit. Does anyone else always misspell "each other"? That words should just GO TOGETHER!
