The title is one of the lines from a U2 song. We just got to go see them midweek this last week. It was quite a spectacle spectacular! It was pretty rad to see them and hear them bust out in songs that you grow up on. The lights, the sound, and songs made it for an awesome night. It was a super late school night though so we've been going to be early ever since!
There's been no waves for a week or so, which means alternative forms of entertainment and thrill. Last week some guys went up the way to some cliffs on the beach to do some beach jumps. They went back on Tuesday so I went with them. That whole morning I was freaking out. On our Christmas Party we did some cliff jumps behind Manly and I was super sketched on those ones. The ones I was going to do that day were meant to be double the size! My heart was seriously fluttering for 2 hours before we went. We finally left for lunch and hiked down to the jumping off spot. By now I was so twitchy I couldn't stop myself from convulsing. The dudes told me to look over the edge to see where I should go and I said definitely not! Two guys jumped. I went a had a quick glance. Another dude jumped. I took a couple steps back crouched down and just breathed a couple times to calm myself down. Bombs Away... Half way down I was thinking man I should've hit by now! It's a really cool set up. Once you're down there's a cave you swim through and climb out on the other side. Then you have to climb up the rocks to get back. All in all pretty thrilling!

Not Acapulco cliff divers, but still supposed to be about 60 ft.
