Last Sunday was my nephew Isaac's Birthday in the U.S. There are so many thoughts and memories that go through my mind, and I'm still floored at the help and support that we received from our friends and family. It was something that I never expected and can never say thank you enough for. I spent the day down the coast and just spent the time reliving Isaac's memory. I don't think anything I can do can amount to how many lives he touched in his year and a half. I miss him so much and wish all of you could have had more time with him as well. I've really never felt so much love towards someone as I did him and the one thing I fear is that I won't be able to repeat it. At his funeral Lani's words were so memorable "that when you have a grandchild you fall back in love". To me he was my love in so many ways.
Isaac, you are such a special boy. How the light of peace and love glowed from you at such an early age. Your beautiful smile, laugh, and curls I think about constantly. I love and miss you Isaac.
