Preparing for the tidal wave

So Melissa and I will be flat out for the next couple of months.  It's exciting and we're definitely looking forward to it, but in preparation we decided to take a breather and do a camping weekend.  Here's the funny parts - we didn't have propane, we tried to buy propane and my poor communication and our lack of product knowledge made us look retarded, no open fires were allowed - we froze, we don't have sleeping bags - we had every blanket we could muster from our house, we didn't buy ice - more me being stubborn about stopping and wanting to get on the road with out being fully prepared, and I think that's the main stuff.  All in all it was a fun weekend and the previous set backs just showed us that we need to go out there and get the right stuff!  Camping in Australia is cool.  A lot of campgrounds or even parks have free electrical bbq's that you can use for free.  The campground was awesome.  The beach was pretty and there are cool rock slabs at either end that would provide good tide pool hunting if you're into that sorta thing, which I'm really not but chicks usually are so I usually point out that feature when I'm with Melissa at a beach.  The amenities were good and the waves were super fun.  There's a lot to do in the vicinity and we can't wait to go back!

Other interesting info - Ewok currently plays fetch, if you don't believe us you can ask doubting Dad (Alan) because we revealed it to him.  Melissa twisted her foot and has been limping around - poor thing!  I got a job and will be heading to Melbourne for 6 weeks in October - right at Melissa's 1 year in Aus mark, which means that we'll be apart at this point just like we were at the same point last year.  Once again poor thing!  She's a trooper and I can't wait until we're all settled and she can have a moment to chill.  *Hint hint any girls who want to come out I'll give you guys a pampering afternoon, haha!
