We have finally purchased a bbq. Melissa has been trying to get me to buy one for a while now and I've been putting it off as long as possible. Last weekend I was down at Brendon's beach house hangin out and surfing and then we'd have sweet bbq's in the evening. We were bbqing one night and I was standing there thinking...hmm, yep, I'm gonna get a bbq. I came home and told Melis and she was floored. I went and picked one up yesterday and got all the other stuff to go with it as well. haha, sideout - we just had spider drama! Melissa is trying to kill a spider and has effectively napalmed a bush and thrown her sandal into the spider pit! Anyways, I got the bbq and Melissa put it together bc she loves putting stuff together. Tonight we broke it in and and a delicious dinner of steak, corn on the cob, sweet potatoes, and other veggies.

Prior to bbq we were down in Melbourne last weekend. Brendon was going to come up to NSW and we were gonna go camping, but of course there were no waves up here and they were claiming Victoria was going to be all time. I flew down last minute and had a good weekend, but the waves were pretty weak. Brendon and I did practice towing. It's definitely cool and we've gotten a better since last time, but I'm still learning the art of driving and being the tower.

Melissa was down hanging out with Christina for her bday. They had a great time down on the Melbourne peninsula. She ended up staying an extra day to do some sight visits for work.

Oh, something else that is super great - massive sarcasm. I went to buy the worst car in the world new tires and of course they are "specialty" tires and ended costing beaucoup de dolars! Freakin clown car drives me nuts! In case you don't understand the term clown car - envision a central american bus with 300 people in with livestock and luggage on the roof. Divide that by 10 and make it a 2 door and you have the wonderful proton!

Jordi, everyone that has a little taste of the Proton loves it. But once you swish it around and try to savor that taste it turns bitter!

Yes Alyssa, hence you should plan a spring break trip to Aus one year. Beach, sun, and fun in the middle of your winter!
